Physical therapy

Physical therapists diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, with illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities as well as they would like in their daily lives.

Services

Physical Therapy is traditionally thought to be a very hands-on profession. However, it is just one piece of the puzzle.

Telemedicine helps eliminate barriers to care, increasing the opportunity for consistent treatment and improving long-lasted outcomes.

Orthopedic Care

Orthopedic physical therapy focuses on treating conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, including joints, muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons.

Geriatric Care

Older patients with conditions that affect their mobility and physical function find that video visits reduce the burden of traveling without sacrificing the effectiveness of treatment plans.

Rehabilitation

For after-trauma injuries, such as ankle twist, shoulder luxation, knee injuries like ACL tear etc. or after-operation rehabilitation such as knee, hip, spine, hand related, etc.

Evaluation & Treatment

One of the most important aspects in the physical therapy process is understanding the root cause of the problem. Once discovered, we can educate patient’s on their individual triggers, advise on a clear plan for rehabilitation, and provide active strategies for long-term improvement.

Patient Education

Education increases understanding. Patients who are educated will have a greater understanding of their condition and treatment, and will be better equipped to take an active part in the treatment process.

Movement Tests

With clear direction and close monitoring, we can remotely perform muscular skeletal assessments by watching squats, lunges, heel raises, and other muscle isolation activities.

Therapeutic Exercise

Video visits can be used to guide patients through strengthening, flexibility, balance, and functional mobility exercises to recover from surgery or address chronic conditions.

Pediatric Physiotherapy

Pediatric PTs help kids improve their range of motion, strength, flexibility, and movement patterns, making every day activities easier.

With Telemedicine, we can assess the phases of development and advise on long-lasted care for babies, toddlers, and young children.

Patient Education

We can provide therapy plans to guide parents in handling techniques or positioning ideas, and also teach children how to properly carry-out active exercise programs.

Development Tracking

We can review and address various movement development milestones and provide expert advice on how to overcome or manage delays.

Active Tests

Used to identify coordination, balance, range of motion, strength related parameters. These are objective measurements that enable us to start forming a treatment plan.
